After cleansing, dot one drop onto affected areas twice a day (ideally at night) until skin settles.

Key ingredients: 2% salicylic acid, tamanu seed oil, rice bran oil, oat kernel oil, bergamot, rosemary and clary sage essential oils.

VOTARY is an independent British skincare brand founded by make-up artist Arabella Preston and Charlotte Semler. Products are made in small batches in the UK (the Vitamin C Glow Serum is made in Switzerland), are vegan and cruelty free, and come in glass bottles and FSC-certified boxes.

The brand is best known for oil cleansing and for formulas that are gentle on sensitive skin. Several products, including the Nutrient Creams, Super Bright Eye Gel and Radiance Reveal Mask, are fragrance free.
