Each morning, apply a few drops to freshly cleansed skin and massage upwards into face and neck. Follow with moisturiser or oil.

Key ingredients: 3.5% vitamin C (sodium ascorbyl phosphate), 5% niacinamide, alpha arbutin, hyaluronic acid.

VOTARY is an independent British skincare brand founded by make-up artist Arabella Preston and Charlotte Semler. Products are made in small batches in the UK (the Vitamin C Glow Serum is made in Switzerland), are vegan and cruelty free, and come in glass bottles and FSC-certified boxes.

The brand is best known for oil cleansing and for formulas that are gentle on sensitive skin. Several products, including the Nutrient Creams, Super Bright Eye Gel and Radiance Reveal Mask, are fragrance free.
